Tropic Of Cancer Marathon 2016

During 2016 and 2017 i spent around 18 months living and working in Dubai UAE. I was fortunate to fall in with a training group, called I Love Running, I Love Swimming and I Love Cycling, and I really enjoyed the training sessions with those guys.

One of the events that i participated in at that time was the Tropic Of Cancer Marathon on the desert in the UAE.

We would meet once or twice a week at the running track in one of the suburbs of Dubai.

Additionally, we would meet for swimming training a couple of times per week at a suitable swimming pool location.

Then we would meet for cycle rides as well.

The organisation was run by a very nice Russian couple and their friends who were trainers for the company. They were really nice people and I have included some photos of this couple and their friends in this post.

Running High

We even went on a sports trip to Sochi in russia, where three was a long weekend running event comprising 3 events over 3 days. it was a lot of fun.
