Alan´s Review Of Beach Body On Demand Fitness System

1.0 Introduction

I have personally tried the Beach Body On Demand fitness system over several years and entered the challenge to improve my own fitness level over 30 days.

What I liked about Beach Body On Demand was that there were many different fitness workouts, and that you could choose the ones which worked for you and choose not to carry out the ones that you did not like, so it is very flexible – its all your own choice.

2.0 Is Beachbody On Demand Really Worth It?

Is the Beachbody On Demand fitness system really worth it, and is it effective? There are so many ways to exercise, why choose this one?

Personally, I like running as my main sport. However, I do recognise that a total fitness regime based solely on running is not enough. I like to mix up my training sessions and include at least 1 session per week that is focused on core strength training.

For over a decade, i’ve followed several workout programs from  Beachbody On Demand, including Insanity.

After collecting data, and looking at the results, here’s my Beachbody On Demand review.

In this in-depth personal review of Beachbody On Demand, I list ten reasons why I think it’s worth your time and investment.

Next, I’ll share my experience with Beachbody programs before I explain my top 10 reasons why I review Beachbody On Demand highly.

MY OWN BEACHBODY WORKOUT EXPERIENCE

I first completed a Beachbody workout around 2012.

This pre-dates the Beachbody On Demand streaming, so I had a few DVDs. I had never followed an exercise program like this one before. Instead, all my training sessions up to then were self-taught.

My self-taught exercise consisted mainly of running, basic bodyweight moves, and training sessions with running colleagues.

I am still a Beachbody On Demand user, but not regularly anymore.

1. Do Beachbody Workouts Really Work?

I have seen results personally and achieved a big improvement in my own core fitness after following the Beach Body system for 1 month religiously.

With fitness, there’s no magic pill —you just need to do the necessary hard work. Beachbody On Demand is worth it because it lets you work smarter and more conveniently, therefore it is time efficient in relation to the results you can get quickly.

That means getting better results in less time and cutting out the unnecessary, like going to a gym or always thinking you need access to equipment.

Not all workouts are the same, however. Don’t make the mistake of allowing an easy workout to waste your time and effort, you need to feel the burn to know that your workout is being effective.

2. Beachbody On Demand Is Really Good Value

To understand if Beachbody On Demand is worth it, just look at the cost. A Beachbody On Demand annual membership is $9.99/month billed annually, so $119.88/year in the United States, Including unlimited classes – see the UK rates in the list below.

On June 23, 2022, all of these prices (excluding the BOD+BODi 12-Month Membership) increased. Here are the four Beachbody On Demand membership options and their respective prices:

In addition to the June 23, 2022 price increase, the cost of the 3-Month and 6-Month Membership was increased on February 1, 2021. It’s clear that Beachbody is driving customers toward the annual membership, by making it more affordable and therefore attractive than short term membership.

If you’re wondering if you can pay for Beachbody On Demand Monthly, the answer is no, not at the moment.

Gym memberships may seem cheap, but they’re not necessarily so. On average, health and fitness expenses in the US clock in at $140,000 over a lifetime, and Uk costs are similar except usually more expensive. Those monthly fees add up, and then you may have to add coaching costs on top of that.

So Beachbody workouts are considerably cheaper than using the gym.

Better results (or the same results in a lot less time) can be achieved with fewer pounds or dollars spent.

Furthermore, the savings only increase when you add on the cost of a personal trainer to push, guide and instruct you, if you invest in a personal trainer or coach.

3. With Beachbody On Demand You Get World-Class Personal Trainers

Everyone who wants to get the most out of their workouts needs a trainer. If you’re reading this article and spending time researching what’s best for your future fitness life, that’s you in all probability.

Even the best Olympians and professional athletes have trainers. Beachbody On Demand employs the very best top industry trainers (who are backed up by a team of sports scientists) to guide you through the streamed workout programs on Beachbody On Demand.

In all Beachbody On Demand workouts, you’re told what to do, when to do it, and for how long. You’ll hear adequate instruction and see proper form demonstrated by the coaches. You do the exercise at the same time as the trainers are demonstrating the moves.

What kind of fitness plan doesn’t come with a nutrition plan? What you put in your mouth amounts to 80% of your results. Your fitness plan must include guidance on what and how much to eat.

With Beachbody On Demand, each program includes a nutrition plan tailored to your gender, activity level, goals, body weight, and dietary preferences.

Having the ability to work out from anywhere eliminates so many excuses, making you far more consistent. When I was working in the UAE, it was often unbearably hot and humid to exercise outdoors. Whenever I wanted to do a workout, I could choose a Beachbody On Demand workout to do indoors in an air-conditioned environment.

You no longer have to manage commute time, weather, and class times, and worry about whether you will be late for the start of a class.

6. Beachbody On Demand Offers You Unlimited Variety

A lack of variety can be monotonous. An optimized workout routine requires variety to prevent boredom, plateau, or injury, and to have the best training effect on your body.

Beachbody On Demand is good because it offers infinite variety.

The workouts offer something for every fitness level and interest. The programs typically range from 3 weeks to 3 months so that you can try something new whenever you would like to.

Also, you don’t have to strictly follow Beachbody On Demand workouts to make your membership worth it.

Some of the programs are only four days a week, so there are free days to rest, bike, or catch up with your running. This variety keeps exercise fun while keeping your body out of its comfort zone.

With your Beachbody On Demand trainer (celebrity trainers Tony Horton, Chalene Johnson, Autumn Calabrese, and Shaun T, Joel Freeman, Jennifer Jacobs), you know that you’re training with the very best and learning their proven exercise techniques.

What’s more, is that you can do it at your own pace, in the privacy of your own home.

For me, I  have learned how to weight lift, become an injury-free runner, and use resistance bands instead of weights while travelling.

With weight lifting, for example, following programs like Body Beast, LIIFT4, 21 Day Fix, and P90X, will teach you how to strengthen all muscle groups using proper form. They instruct you and demonstrate precisely what you need to be doing. Personally, I am not into weightlifting, only light weights for repetitions.

You can also learn how to do yoga through the Beachbody On Demand Yoga Studio without the need to go out to a class or to feel uncomfortable in a group class.

Don’t worry about feeling lost. You will hear thorough and professional instructions through the screen.

Teaching us these new techniques makes Beachbody On Demand invaluable.

Just make the effort to take photos and track body measurements when you’re following any fitness program. They’re the best indicator of progress and you will miss your transformation if you don’t record them.

In the beginning, feel free to pick and choose workouts that look fun. This gives you a chance to try out the different trainers. Once you find something you like, follow the full program plan.

Your results will be lacking (and therefore your motivation) if you choose to just follow individual workouts.

What About Other Beachbody On Demand Products?

I follow the workouts via Beachbody On Demand weekly, but personally, i don’t drink Shakeology daily. That was never part of my regime.

For me, Shakeology is not necessary nor valuable, but that doesn’t mean it’s not the right supplement for me.
